Recently I have been doing a project for scaling a flash site to fit the touch screen presentation. The original size was 950×550 and there were 2 sizes that I need to scale: 1360×768 and 1024×768. 1024×768 was easy since the width is just slightly wider so all I need to do is to move some content vertical align to center and extend the height of background.

But for 1360×768, it was a nightmare because the ratio is kind of wide screen. I can’t just align everything to center as the content will look very small…

I was wondering if there is any automatic way/software to scale the flash site, unfortunately there isn’t…, I had to go through every fla and make the changes, i.e- updating images to hi-res, scaling up all texts/vector graphic and re-aligning all contents and layout. It was kind of re-doing the site and very time consuming. I do feel that scaling the flash site to different ratio might take as long as the site created first:)
