Adobe has finally released Flash CS4 update 10.0.2 today!! I hope it will solve many issues I have encountered, especially slowness.

Update: I have tested several files that had performance issues, it seems to have fixed most of performance issues although some files still take a few seconds to open (CS 3 only takes 1 or 2 seconds).

One file in particular with many nested movie clips was not usable before, took about 1 minute to go into each nest, now is working as it should although it does take about 10 seconds to open first and 30 seconds to save and compact.

One issue still remains is that when you are not in focus with Flash for a few minutes, it will take a few seconds to respond if you are back to Flash, Hope it will solve in next updates.

Overall, it has improved a lot since the first release but it should come out earlier.

Update: One thing I found is that sometimes selecting a dynamic textfield will pause a bit in CS4 but playback on timeline is actually smoother in CS4 than CS3.
